Winter Dry Skin Care Tips - How to Keep Your Skin Supple!

Keeping you skin hydrated can be a challenge all year round, particularly in the dry winter months. Here are some of my personal tips to help keep your skin in good shape. Products Used: Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme Burt's Bees Hand Salve (purse size is what is shown) Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm Shea Butter Aveeno Natural Colloidal Oatmeal Daily Moisturizing Lotion Mary Kay Hand Lotion (I also mentioned Neutrogena "Norwegian Formula" Hand Cream - excellent) Warm Mist Humidifier 64 oz pure water daily Supplements - Omega 3 Fish Oil Capsules (Metagenics) + 5-HTP (Jarrow Formula) Additional advice: * Take extra care with your skin. * Use a dry brush on your skin prior to getting into the shower to stimulate circulation and remove dry, dead skin cells. * Stick to a gentle soap to clean your skin in the shower, such as an olive oil based soap. We use "Kiss My Face" Pure Olive Oil soap. * Use a good moisturizer with a built-in SPF. *Turn the heat down in your home - heat dries out everything, including your skin. *Protect your skin when entering the cold outside - cover your face as much as possible with a scarf. *Consider a hydrating mist. These can be found at most good beauty salons and department stores. *Use a light touch with your foundation - let your skin breathe as much as possible. *Get the circulation going to your skin with cardio exercise. Doing so will also impart a youthful-looking glow! Link to Miss Pookie's legacy videos (mentioned in my video): www.youtube.com
